RULES

Here are the rules of Ultimate Online Racing.

1. Flamming is prohibited.  Any form of it will be grounds for immediate removal from the race.

2. Intentional wrecking is also not accepted.  Those caught doing so will be punished accordingily.  Meaning, you race a while with us, then one incident comes up, all angles will be looked at.  Be expecting atleast a one race suspension.

3. No jumping the starts/restarts.  When pacing maintain a .2 to .4 interval between you and the driver in front of you.  You may not start accelerating to race speed before the green flag is displayed.
Penalty per jumped: -50 pts.

4. Black flags will NOT be cleared under any circumstance.  Quite honestly for now we do not have the resourses to do that with.  This rule will be under evalutaion once we get a dedicated server and are able to address such things.

5. No passing on pit road.  Once you are down on pit road you must maintain the right-most lane as quickily as possible.  When you near your pit stall (atmost 5 stalls away) you may pull off into the left lane and proceed with your stop.  The only exception, the driver with the very FIRST pit stall on pit road, will be allowed in the left lane for the entirity of pit road as long as no passing occurs.

6. There will, FOR NOW, be racing back to the yellow flag.  Taking we also don't have the ability to give a Lucky Dog his lap back, there will racing back without a Lucky Dog recipient.  Again, this rule will be under evaluation apon us getting a dedicated server.

7. Lap cars must "pit" with 10 or less to go.  You may just simply drive through, or may actually stop.  Just make sure you are behind ALL lead lap cars unless they have an End Of Longest Line penalty.

8. No chatting during qualifying, and minimal during race conditions.  TeamSpeak will be avilable, once again, after we get a dedicated server.  Practice and Happy Hour are fair game though.

9. Blocking in a safe manner is allowed with 10 laps or less to go.  Until then, just use your head and if the guy behind you is faster let him go.

10. These rules will and will always be considered a guideline and open to evaluation at any time, under any circumstance, and subject to change WITH or WITH OUT notice.  And yes this means during a race.  Most of all, lets just try and keep it clean.
